A-1 Electronics Limited was founded in 1980 by Gary F. Bennett.
In its early days, A-1 Electronics built a solid reputation for reliable and dependable service in the consumer electronics repair and service industry. As Western Newfoundland’s premier electronics repair company, A-1 Electronics Limited secured warranty repair contracts with many major manufacturers.
In 1985, A-1 Electronics Limited expanded its service offering by securing a contract with Honeywell Bull to provide IT service and support to the Western Newfoundland detatchments of the RCMP.
While not forgetting its roots in consumer electronics repair, the next few years saw A-1 Electronics Limited expand its commercial service into a full-service centre.
Over the next several years, A-1 Electronics Limited continued to develop its service and support areas in the IT industry, developing solid expertise in both hardware and software support for desktop personal computers, servers and network infrastructure (routers, switches, bridges and cabling).Continuing its pioneering approach to service and support, A-1 Electronics Limited reached a milestone in its evolution in 2005 by expanding into premise wiring and data cabling.
